We are looking for an enthusiastic science teacher for the new school year with a second-degree teaching qualification in one of the sciences. At Wolfert Bilingual Science is a multidisciplinary subject with a big practical component, taught to our first and second year students. Do you inspire youngsters to become our future scientists? What We Require from You:

  • You have an (international) second degree as a science teacher;
  • you have an affinity for teaching students who are a reflection of Rotterdam society;
  • you ensure a safe learning environment and are able to maximize a student’s potential;
  • you excel at classroom management and are creative in executing the curriculum;
  • you can effectively convey the subject matter and guide and coach students in achieving their learning goals;
  • your digital skills are up to date;
  • you have an advantage if you hold a Cambridge C1 Advanced or a C2 Proficiency certificate (or equivalent) or if you are willing to obtain one;
  • you enjoy developing activities for students in an international context;
  • you are willing to become a coach of a group of students in one of the teams;
  • you speak English well, so you can easily communicate with your English-speaking colleagues and teach in English;
  • you have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate at a high level with students, parents, and colleagues.
