This was the theme for the Nuffic Junior Speaking contest 2020. This used to be a contest for havo/vwo tto students but it is now also possible to enter mavo tto students in this competition.

This year was the first time Wolfert Lansing signed a contestant up for this competition. Seb Naber from class 2E  is the brave student that accepted the challenge, and got up on stage yesterday in a theatre full of students, parents and teachers from the schools thoughout the region, to deliver his speech about how this is the generation that has to make a change if we want a future, and how we can do this.

Although he didn’t make it through to the finals, he certainly did us proud. Seb was pretty nervous at first but he enjoyed the experience and has already volunteered to assist next year’s contestant!
