On Friday the 23rd of February class 1c and 2d had a very interesting visit to Rotterdam The Hague Airport.
Although it was bitterly cold we were all very brave and cycled there together. On arrival we had to check in first. Once we had done this the ladies from the marketing and communication department told us all about the airport’s history.
Like real international travellers we then got to go through customs before we were guided through the rest of the airport. Once we were through the boarding gate we got into a bus which then drove us around the airport while Ms Wadman (Airport communications department) explained about all the different jobs you see at the airport.
When one of the airplanes got ready for take off we were granted permission to follow te plane on the runway. This was really great!
All in all a fantastic excursion thanks to Rotterdam The Hague airport.
