Job opening: Mathematics Teacher
We seek a mathematics teacher in our lower years of the havo and vwo department, who is willing to join the team in a temporary capacity. One of our colleagues will be on maternity leave. You have a second or first-degree teaching qualification in mathematics and you have a qualification indicating your level of English (e.g. Cambridge C1 advanced or equal). We invite native speakers of English to apply as well. As a mathematics teacher, you take your responsibilities seriously. You are a team player, professional, and you contribute to the continuous improvement of the learning processes through your expertise and knowledge. You play an important role in guiding students towards a good end result. You have a passion for the subject of mathematics, enjoy inspiring students for the subject, and like to help students further in a subject they find very difficult. Does this vacancy suit you?   • You excel in classroom management and are creative in executing the curriculum.
  • You can effectively convey the course material and guide and coach students in achieving their learning objectives.
  • Your digital skills are up-to-date.
  • You enjoy developing activities for students in an international context.
  • You speak fluent English, enabling easy communication with your English-speaking colleagues and teaching in English (Cambridge C1 advanced or equal)
  • You are willing to become a coach in one of the teams
  • You have excellent communication skills and can engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
