Tijdens de introductie kwamen ze erachter dat kleding veel, maar tegelijkertijd ook weinig kan zeggen over de eigen identiteit<!--more--> (maar liefst 10 van de 30 leerlingen droegen een hoodie, spijkerbroek en gympen &#8211; zonder dat ze dat hadden afgesproken ;-)). Vervolgens deden de leerlingen in groepjes een mini-onderzoek naar gebruiken en tradities van kledingstukken door culturen over de hele wereld.
