Wij zijn het al sinds onze start in 2005 en steeds meer ouders en kinderen kiezen voor daltononderwijs. Dat is te begrijpen en te verklaren, want daltononderwijs sluit goed aan bij de eisen en de verwachtingen van de moderne maatschappij. Daltononderwijs is daarom een uitstekende voorbereiding op de toekomst. Het lijkt zo te zijn dat leerlingen die daltononderwijs gevolgd hebben met meer gemak het hoger onderwijs doorlopen. Wolfert Lyceum is er trots op een erkende daltonschool te zijn. Ze maakt onderdeel uit van het grote daltonscholennetwerk en is aangesloten bij de Nederlandse Dalton Vereniging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='avia-button-wrap avia-button-center  avia-builder-el-5  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock ' ><a href='https:\/\/www.dalton.nl\/'  class='avia-button av-kh4o9wp3-4ad56f8b18e563162ec7284b905783ee avia-icon_select-yes-left-icon avia-size-large avia-position-center avia-color-theme-color' ><span class='avia_button_icon avia_button_icon_left' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='\ue81f' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello'><\/span><span class='avia_iconbox_title' >Nederlandse Dalton Vereniging<\/span><\/a><\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-kh4o84m4-1c0e1ef1c187f518aee2959f5832bfac'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Alle daltonscholen onderschrijven de kernwaarden van dalton, maar toch zijn ze allemaal verschillend. Ze hebben een overeenkomstige missie, namelijk het opleiden van hun leerlingen tot verantwoordelijke burgers in een democratische samenleving, maar die missie brengen ze allemaal op hun eigen manier tot uitvoering. Leidraad daarbij zijn altijd de kernwaarden die de Nederlandse daltonvereniging heeft opgesteld:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zelfstandigheid<\/li>\n<li>Samenwerking<\/li>\n<li>Verantwoordelijkheid (vrijheid in gebondenheid)<\/li>\n<li>Effectiviteit<\/li>\n<li>Reflectie<\/li>\n<li>Borging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De kernwaarden zijn niet allemaal exclusief voor daltonscholen. Iedere vo-school streeft naar effectiviteit en op alle vo-scholen wordt wel eens samengewerkt. Wolfert Lyceum streeft er naar, net als de andere daltonscholen, om deze kernwaarden duidelijk en dagelijks in het onderwijs toe te passen en vooral om onze leerlingen deze kernwaarden bewust te laten gebruiken.<\/p>\n<h3>Zelfstandigheid<\/h3>\n<p>Leerlingen durven beslissingen te nemen en kunnen deze beslissingen verantwoorden. Docenten bieden duidelijke taakomschrijvingen, zodat leerlingen weloverwogen kunnen besluiten. Docenten geven feedback op deze beslissingen.<\/p>\n<h3>Samenwerking<\/h3>\n<p>Leerlingen luisteren naar elkaar, geven elkaar ruimte en herkennen en vervullen verschillende rollen. Docenten bieden opdrachten aan die samenwerking bevorderen, coachen de uitvoering ervan en geven feedback op het proces. Iets uitleggen is een goede manier om iets te leren.<\/p>\n<h3>Verantwoordelijkheid (vrijheid in gebondenheid)<\/h3>\n<p>Leerlingen stellen zichzelf doelen, stellen vragen, nemen initiatief en maken keuzes. Docenten stimuleren dit, staan open voor de vragen en helpen waar nodig en mogelijk bij het formuleren van de doelen.<\/p>\n<h3>Effectiviteit<\/h3>\n<p>Leerlingen besteden hun tijd nuttig, maken een realistische planning, hebben doel bepaald voor hun daltonuur en maken hiervoor gebruik van de studiewijzer. Docenten stimuleren leerlingen om aan het werk te gaan, geven feedback op hun planning, bieden een complete studiewijzer aan en vragen naar een plan bij het begin van een daltonuur.<\/p>\n<h3>Reflectie<\/h3>\n<p>Leerlingen ontvangen van zowel de docenten als van hun medeleerlingen feedback, zowel op de daltonkernwaarden als op de door hen behaalde cijfers. Deze feedback stimuleert de leerlingen tot zelfreflectie en persoonlijke ontwikkeling.<\/p>\n<h3>Borging<\/h3>\n<p>Leerlingen zijn in staat om de uit de reflectie voortgekomen aandachtspunten te verwezenlijken. Bekijk het filmpje en je wordt weer wat wijzer wat het daltononderwijs op het Wolfert Lyceum inhoudt.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In de dagelijkse praktijk merk je hiervan het volgende:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In de digitale studiewijzer kun je voor ieder vak zien, welke stof in een bepaalde periode behandeld wordt en wat\/wanneer er getoetst wordt.<\/li>\n<li>Een aantal uren per week heb je een \u2018daltonuur\u2019. In klas 1 en 2 heb je enkele daltonuren per week en dat loopt op tot zes uur in de bovenbouw. Bij een daltonuur kies je zelf bij welke docent en aan welk vak je gaat werken. Je kunt extra uitleg vragen aan de docent of juist met je klasgenoten samenwerken aan een opdracht. Je kunt er ook voor kiezen alvast huiswerk te maken, zodat je thuis minder hoeft te doen. Tijdens daltonuren zit je samen met leerlingen uit verschillende leerjaren, dus je kunt ook uitleg vragen aan een oudere leerling.<\/li>\n<li>Zit je in klas 1, 2 of 3? Dan krijg je in de Daltonplusuren de kans om iets heel anders te doen dan in de gewone lessen.<\/li>\n<li>Ook in de \u2018gewone\u2019 lesuren wordt op de daltonmanier gewerkt. De meeste lessen kennen een korte instructie, waarna je alleen of samen aan het werk gaat. Hierdoor is de docent in de gelegenheid om, waar nodig, extra hulp te bieden.<\/li>\n<li>Bij tutorleren helpen leerlingen elkaar verder. Tutorleren betekent leren van elkaar: een leerling die ergens moeite mee heeft, krijgt tijdens een daltonuur begeleiding van een medeleerling die juist sterk is in dat vak.<\/li>\n<li>In de mentorlessen wordt regelmatig aandacht besteed aan reflectie.<\/li>\n<li>Leerlingen kijken hun huiswerk zelf na, want directe feedback heeft het meeste effect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De indrukwekkende opsomming die hierboven staat is een doel en geen voorwaarde voor toelating. Je hoeft dit niet te kunnen om bij ons op school te komen, maar je moet er wel beter in zijn geworden als je (met een diploma op zak) Wolfert Lyceum verlaat. De ene leerling zal daar hele grote stappen in hebben gezet, een andere wat kleinere. Docenten en andere medewerkers van Wolfert Lyceum doen gedurende jouw hele schoolloopbaan hun best om deze vooruitgang tot stand te brengen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section
