dalton<\/h2>\n<p>Wolfert Lyceum is een open, veilige daltonschool gevestigd in een transparant en relatief nieuw gebouw aan de rand van Lansingerland. De school heeft goede (tot zeer goede) resultaten en hoge tevredenheidscijfers. De komende jaren zet Wolfert Lyceum een beweging in die de school \u2018bewust dalton\u2019 noemt. Wolfert Lyceum hoort dat regelmatig terug van oud-leerlingen, universiteiten en hogescholen. Wie op deze school examen heeft gedaan, kan vaak beter plannen, reflecteren, verantwoordelijkheid nemen en samenwerken dan andere eerstejaars studenten.<\/p>\n<h2>Nederlandse Dalton Vereniging<\/h2>\n<p>Wolfert Lyceum is een erkende daltonschool en maakt onderdeel uit van het grote daltonscholennetwerk dat is aangesloten bij de Nederlandse Dalton Vereniging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='avia-button-wrap avia-button-left  avia-builder-el-9  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock ' ><a href='https:\/\/www.dalton.nl\/'  class='avia-button av-d3o0v-934bd361ee54f5993f415c245e17757f avia-icon_select-yes-left-icon avia-size-large avia-position-left avia-color-theme-color' ><span class='avia_button_icon avia_button_icon_left' aria-hidden='true' data-av_icon='\ue81f' data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello'><\/span><span class='avia_iconbox_title' >Nederlandse Dalton Vereniging<\/span><\/a><\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-7hulb-df6072661aad214bfa4a9c2999313dc3'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>De daltonkernwaarden<\/h2>\n<p>Het onderwijs is gebaseerd op de vijf daltonkernwaarden: verantwoordelijkheid, zelfstandigheid, samenwerking, reflectie en effectiviteit. Leerlingen doen deze vaardigheden stap voor stap op, onder goede begeleiding van mentoren en docenten.<\/p>\n<h4>Verantwoordelijkheid<\/h4>\n<p>Op Wolfert Lyceum krijgen leerlingen in kleine stapjes verantwoordelijkheid aangeleerd. De stappen passen bij wat een leerling aankan. Binnen duidelijke kaders maakt hij steeds meer keuzes, begeleid door docenten. Er zijn keuzes in de manier waarop de stof eigen wordt gemaakt en (deels) ook in welk tempo. De leerling kan ook kiezen in welke vakken hij zich wil verdiepen. Hij leert begrijpen hoe de maximale speelruimte die hij krijgt, werkt.<\/p>\n<h4>Zelfstandigheid<\/h4>\n<p>De leerling ontwikkelt een steeds grotere mate van zelfstandigheid tijdens de schooltijd. Hij of zij leert zichzelf en zijn capaciteiten en ambities kennen. Op basis daarvan maakt de leerling steeds meer eigen keuzes om doelbewust toe te werken naar resultaten. De docenten begeleiden daarbij en spreken de leerling aan op de eigen verantwoordelijkheid in het keuzeproces.<\/p>\n<h4>Samenwerking<\/h4>\n<p>Leerlingen leren op alle gebieden samenwerken, vertrouwen op elkaars sterke punten en elkaar \u2013 daar waar nodig \u2013 aan te vullen en aan te spreken. Een co\u00f6peratieve houding is immers essentieel in de wereld van vandaag en morgen.<\/p>\n<h4>Reflectie<\/h4>\n<p>Ontwikkelen gaat niet zonder reflectie op het eigen handelen. Daarvoor is feedback nodig van docenten en medeleerlingen. Leerlingen krijgen feedback op de \u2018soft skills\u2019, dus op hun daltonvaardigheden (hun mate van verantwoordelijkheid en zelfstandigheid, hun manier van samenwerken) en hun studievaardigheden. Ze krijgen ook feedback op \u2018hard skills\u2019: behaalde cijfers laten zien welk kennisniveau ze hebben. Reflectie is op Wolfert Lyceum de motor van het leren; het hele team vervult hierin een voorbeeldfunctie.<\/p>\n<h4>Effectiviteit<\/h4>\n<p>De vakken, de lessen en de lestijd zijn zo ingericht dat elke leerling zo effectief mogelijk kan leren en daarin keuzes kan maken.
