Eye Science
We worked with eyes models purchased last week by the school. The models are a nice alternative to dissection. Grade 10 students were shown a real dissection first, online, and then were given the eye model pieces.
It was a challenge to fit all the different parts together and to remember to include everything ... many a student forgot the aqueous humour and had to disassemble the eye to start again!
The school also purchased heart models which will be put at use shortly by the IB students.
Of course we still have room for dissections!!!!
